OVERVIEW
This Radium Engineering fuel pump hanger replaces both the right and left side fuel hat assemblies. It is compatible with either one or two aftermarket fuel pumps. The kit reuses the passive and active fuel level sensors. It also retains a saddle-style fuel transfer system with new, improved components. No cutting or modification of the vehicle is required for installation.
CONNECTIONS
The combined fuel pump outlet is 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) female threaded on the top plate. However, an SAE quick connect fitting is included to connect to the OEM feed line.
The fuel return inlet is 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) female threaded on the top plate. However, an 8.5mm adapter is included to connect to the OEM return line.
All connections are machined sufficiently low so as not to interfere with the surrounding area.
COMPATIBLE FUEL PUMPS
The 20-1180 is configured for use with 1 or 2 aftermarket fuel pumps. These can be either 2-wire brushed fuel pumps or 3- or 4-wire brushless fuel pumps.
Choosing the best fuel pump depends on the expected engine power, fuel type (gasoline, E85, etc.), and fuel pressure.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Custom-designed stainless steel electrical terminals easily support the high current demands that compact multipin connectors do not offer. They feature an anti-rotation system that prevents the terminals from spinning. These serviceable connections are hermetically sealed and resistant to all standard and specialty fuels. Non-conductive anodized aluminum acorn nuts are included to prevent accidental short circuits. Additionally, in-tank wiring is insulated with high-quality, chemical-resistant ETFE.
NOTES
In single pump installations, the OEM fuel pump wiring can be reused.
It is recommended to upgrade the OEM wiring to ensure the pump receives full power and operates at its maximum potential.
If a second pump is used, it is IMPERATIVE to use a pump-specific relay and fuse.
