RacingLine engine mounts are an essential upgrade for any high-performance or hard-driven car. This engine-side mount is a full, redesigned replacement, not just a simple press-in insert, and should be fitted in conjunction with the transmission-side mount and the lower engine mount. The entire engine and gearbox (the transmission) sit on only three points. The two upper mounts support all the weight of the engine and gearbox, plus a third lower mount beneath the engine.

The RacingLine engine side mount is a CNC-machined replacement, designed to significantly reduce engine and transmission movement, ensuring optimal power transfer to the track.

The risk of wheel hop during hard acceleration is almost completely eliminated, as the engine and gearbox assembly is held firmly, preventing vibrations during wheelspin and aggressive gear changes.

This strengthens the drivetrain, protecting it from future wear and breakage. Unlike replacement bushings that simply fill the gaps in the original factory mounts, RacingLine mounts are a completely redesigned mount and torque arm assembly.

It should be noted that installing these three uprated engine mounts is a significant modification to your vehicle. Naturally, more drivetrain noise is perceived in the cabin (more than when only the lower engine mount is installed), but most enthusiast drivers appreciate the greater connection to their car and the smooth roar transmitted by the mount.
