Electric Water Pump (EWP®) Mounting Bracket Kit DC8700

The Davies Craig EWP® Mounting Bracket Kit adds another excellent mounting alternative for customers to securely install their remote mount pump. While Davies Craig has always acknowledged that the EWP® range, being lightweight, can be self-supporting when connected to the radiator hose, this bracket offers first-class mounting flexibility.

It facilitates rigid mounting of the EWP® in the engine bay or chassis by providing a custom-molded rubber damper to minimize vibration damage and secure the pump firmly.

Compatibility and Features

This mounting accessory offers reliable fastening and is specifically designed for use with the nylon and alloy versions of the following EWP® models:

EWP®115 (Nylon & Alloy)

EWP®130 / EWP®140 (Alloy)

EWP®150 (Alloy)

Vibration Minimization: The included rubber damper fits snugly around the pump, isolating it from harsh engine and chassis vibrations.

Secure Fastening: Features a sturdy steel outer ring that is tightened with a hex bolt and Nyloc nut for reliable and long-lasting hold.

Important Installation Notes

Correct Positioning: When fitting the rubber damper around the circumference of the Electric Water Pump (EWP), ensure the rubber tabs are flush with the top edge of the pump housing for a secure fit.
Outlet Clearance: Before fully tightening the bolt, verify that the clamp and bolt mechanism are clear of the EWP® outlet. If not properly positioned, hose fitment and routing may be compromised.
