GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This Radium Engineering fuel hanger replaces the factory fuel pump assembly. No cutting or modification of the vehicle is required for installation. REQUIREMENTS: A fuel pressure regulator and an external (low micron) fuel filter must be purchased separately. Optionally, plumbing kits include both components.

PORTS
The fuel pump outlet has an 10AN ORB (7/8"-14) female thread on the top plate. However, an 8AN male adapter is included. The fuel return inlet has an 8AN ORB (3/4"-16) female thread on the top plate. However, a 6AN male adapter is included.

All connections are machined with a low profile to prevent interference with the surrounding area.

COMPATIBLE FUEL PUMPS
The 20-1010 hanger is configured to be used with a replacement fuel pump. NOTE: If two replacement fuel pumps are required, the additional dual pump kit will also be needed. The choice of the best fuel pump depends on the expected engine power, fuel type (gasoline, E85, etc.), and fuel pressure.

*These pumps do not include an integrated check valve. This kit includes a high-flow check valve that attaches to the outlet of these specific pumps.

STARVATION PROTECTION

Various mechanisms work together to direct fuel to the integrated collector and keep it full at all times. This ensures that the pump has sufficient fuel, even during aggressive driving. The internal pump is fed with fuel from three different sources:

Constant return fuel, drawn from the passive side of the tank.

Constant low-pressure return fuel from the pressure regulator.

The two one-way fill valves at the bottom of the collector allow fuel to enter, but not to exit. Each one-way valve allows a flow of 355 LPH, keeping the collector at the current tank level.

ELECTRICAL

Custom-designed stainless steel electrical studs easily handle the high current demand that compact multi-pin connectors cannot offer. These serviceable connections are hermetically sealed and resistant to all standard and specialty fuels. Non-conductive anodized aluminum acorn nuts are included to prevent accidental short circuits. Additionally, the internal in-tank wiring is insulated with high-quality, chemical-resistant ETFE.

NOTES

For single fuel pump installations, the factory pump wiring can be reused.
It is recommended to upgrade the factory wiring to ensure the pumps receive full power and operate at their maximum potential.
