OVERVIEW

This Radium Engineering fuel pump hanger replaces the OEM fuel pump assembly. No cutting or modification of the vehicle’s sheet metal or fuel tank is required for installation.

The fuel pump is located in the factory collector to guard against fuel starvation.

PLUMBING

The fuel pump outlet features an 8AN ORB (3/4"-16) female thread on the top plate.

The pre-installed -6AN male fitting allows for connection of an aftermarket feed line or to the plumbing kit.

The return inlet features a 6AN ORB (9/16"-18) female thread on the top plate.

The included -6AN male fitting allows for connection of an aftermarket return line and/or connects to the plumbing kit.

All fittings are machined to allow for no interference with the trunk sheet metal.

FUEL PUMPS

Part Numbers 20-1790 and 20-1792 are configured for use with one aftermarket fuel pump.

Notes:

If two aftermarket pumps are required, the additional dual pump upgrade kit (20-1796 or 20-1797, listed below) is also required.

If a brushless pump is being installed, the dual pump upgrade kit CANNOT be used due to the additional brushless controller wiring.

Choosing the correct fuel pump(s) is dependent on expected engine horsepower, fuel type (gasoline, E85, etc.), and fuel pressure.

ELECTRICAL

Custom designed, anti-rotational stainless steel electrical studs easily handle the high current demand that compact multi-pin bulkhead connectors cannot. These service-friendly connections are hermetically sealed and impervious to all standard and exotic fuels. Non-conductive anodized aluminum acorn nuts are provided to prevent accidental shorting. Furthermore, the in-tank wiring is made of high-quality chemical-resistant ETFE.

Notes

Installations with a single Walbro GSS342 (255 LPH) fuel pump can re-use the OEM pump wiring.

Upgrading the OEM wiring is recommended to ensure pumps receive full power and perform to their maximum potential.
