Due to the size of the intake pipe, ECU retuning is required for your vehicle to run safely and to extract maximum power from the additional airflow. The intake pipe also features a CNC-machined air straightener to provide consistent airflow readings to the MAF sensor, making retuning easier and faster. The intake pipe is available in a polished or texture black finish. Also included is a 3" diameter Mishimoto high-flow air filter with an integrated velocity stack for maximum flow. This high-performance race intake will give your car a very aggressive sound under acceleration. For this intake, an optional air box is available designed to keep hot engine air away from the filter. This box reuses the stock intake duct to supply cool air to the filter, while also maintaining a stock-like appearance in the engine bay. The intake includes all necessary clamps, couplers, hardware, and protective rubber trim for a flawless installation. A rubber plug is included to cover the unused sound resonator housing and keep engine sound out of the cabin.
