Designed to withstand high-RPM conditions, ACL Race Series engine bearings are available for many popular 4, 6, and 8-cylinder applications and feature the following:

High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness to improve fatigue resistance.
Hardened steel backing on all connecting rod bearings to improve bearing liner support and facilitate its retention in the housing.
Increased crush for better bearing retention.
Elimination of flash plating on the back of the bearings to improve heat transfer and maximize grip between the bearing and its housing.
Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and facilitate hydrodynamic oil film formation.
3/4 grooved main bearings to optimize load surface and oil flow to connecting rod bearings.
Tight and consistent wall tolerances to maintain uniform clearances. Enlarged I.D. chamfers on bearing edges, where necessary, to accommodate large fillet radii on high-performance crankshafts.
