Engineered to withstand high RPM conditions, ACL Race Series engine bearings are available for many popular 4, 6, & 8 cylinder applications and feature the following:

High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue resistance.
Hardened steel backing on all rod bearings for improved housing crush and bearing retention.
Increased crush for better bearing retention.
Elimination of flash plating on the back of the bearings to improve heat transfer and maximize the grip between the bearing and its housing.
Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPMs and facilitate the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.
3/4 grooved main bearings to optimize the load-carrying surface and oil flow to the connecting rod bearings.
Tight and consistent wall tolerances to maintain uniform clearances. Enlarged internal chamfers on support edges, where necessary, to accommodate large fillet radii on high-performance crankshafts.
