DEI's thermo-acoustic lining for the engine compartment was primarily designed to significantly reduce heat and noise with a simple self-adhesive application. Extreme engine heat and noise are often an issue in today's modified vehicles, equipped with high-performance components. Made with high-quality 19mm thick marine-grade acoustic foam, with a fiberglass-reinforced aluminum reflective layer and a 4mm acrylic adhesive that provides permanent attachment, this lining not only insulates the underside of the hood to dampen sound and control temperature but also protects the vehicle's paint. Additionally, it can be used for noise control in applications such as generator enclosures and various industrial uses, including HVAC systems.
