The core in our new design has grown as well. We increased the core thickness to 1.65", increasing core volume by 31% over the stock unit. The updated tube and fin design employed on this radiator also expands the external fin surface area by 57% for maximum heat dissipation, primarily when used in conjunction with Mishimoto’s performance auxiliary radiators. To ensure a durable radiator, we’ve also incorporated reinforced tubes throughout the core to improve stability and drastically reduce the risk of tube rupture or leaks.
