AN-10 Forge Motorsport FMOC2 Oil Cooler Take Off Plate for Audi Seat Skoda VW

The oil filter housing on modern VAG engines doesn’t allow for the previously common oil take-offs, under the filter, to divert oil to an oil cooler mounted elsewhere in the vehicle. Instead, they now use a water to oil cooling block bolted to the front of the engine, and in many cases, an undersized filter or paper filter element, making it difficult to install an oil cooler. As many have found, if the vehicle is modified or if it tows a heavy load, oil temperatures can skyrocket, easily exceeding 120°C (250°F), close to the point at which engine oil starts to degrade.

The Forge Motorsport FMOC2 replaces the water to oil cooling block and, whilst still allowing coolant to circulate, most importantly, it provides two M22 take-offs which, with the correct adapter, allow for the installation of oil cooler lines from -6 to -10, which can then be connected to an external oil cooler. Oil temperatures are stabilized, and engines can run at higher power for longer.

This plate replaces the original VAG part number 03L 117 021 C. It is compatible with all 2.0 TDi and 1.6 TDi engines in the vehicles listed below.
