ZRP Forged Pistons for Ford 2.0L 16v Cosworth N/A Crankshaft. 84 mm 12.8:1

Ford Cosworth pistons are designed for moderate to high engine tuning, mainly for hill climbing or road use. Designed by ZRP engineers and manufactured in Germany from high-silicon, low-expansion 4032 (T6) alloy, they allow the engine tuner to work with a tighter piston-to-cylinder clearance, which results in a better seal. This minimizes cold start knocking, common in engines with forged pistons, providing quiet operation and low oil consumption. We have opted for a full round skirt design with a lower reinforcing band, with oversized and deeper valve pockets to allow the use of high lift camshafts. They feature offset pins for quiet operation and the piston pins are made from 9310 alloy. Other features include anti-detonation grooves to protect the top rings, a gas pressure accumulator groove for better ring sealing and vibration relief. Includes a set of premium Japanese 1.50mm x 1.20mm x 2.50mm rings.
