Camshafts change the performance characteristics of the engine, improving the power and torque curve. Among the sport camshafts manufactured by Swiatek, we distinguish the following types:
Depending on the type of roller, additional modifications are required for correct operation.
GT - camshafts designed for everyday use of the vehicle. Engine tuning on a dynamometer (chiptuning) is recommended. Power and torque increase by about 10%.
GT/R - GT with high-performance camshaft. Requires engine tuning on a dynamometer. Power and torque increase by about 10-20%.
R - rally camshafts, with optimized transmission for higher power and torque at high RPMs. Sport transmission ratio, etc., and engine tuning on a dynamometer.
W - racing camshafts, maximizing power and torque. Similar modifications to rally camshafts. Power above 100 HP in a 1000 cc engine.
