D11 Brake Caliper
Wilwood D11 four piston brake calipers are a direct bolt-on replacement for the OEM Kelsey-Hayes calipers on all 1965-67 Ford Mustang, Fairlane, Ranchero, Falcon, Comet and Mercury Cougar.
Forged aluminum bodies, internal fluid crossover, stainless steel pistons and high-temperature seals put an end to the rust, leaks, bore corrosion, and seal failures that plague the original caliper design. D11 calipers can use the OE style brake pads and install in the factory location with the original brackets and rotors.
D11 calipers mount in the factory location over stock rotors and use stock D11 brake pads. These calipers fit most production steel wheels and most newer model alloy wheels. D11 calipers utilize the same total piston volume as the OE calipers. Other than a new flex line with a 1/8”-27 NPT end for the new aluminum caliper, no other changes such as master cylinder output or brake bias adjustment are required.
