D11 Brake Caliper
Wilwood’s D11 four piston brake calipers are a direct bolt-on replacement for the OEM Kelsey-Hayes calipers on all 1965-67 Ford Mustang, Fairlane, Ranchero, Falcon, Comet, and Mercury Cougar.
Forged aluminum bodies, internal fluid crossover, stainless steel pistons, and high-temperature seals put an end to the rust, leaks, bore corrosion, and seal failures that plague the original caliper design. D11 calipers can use original style brake pads and install in the factory location with the original brackets and rotors.
D11 calipers mount in the factory location over stock rotors and use original D11 brake pads. These calipers will fit most production steel wheels and most later model alloy wheels. D11 calipers utilize the same overall piston volume as the original calipers. Aside from a new flex line with a 1/8”-27 NPT end for the new aluminum caliper, no other changes such as master cylinder output or bias adjustment are required.
