Aero6-DS Radial Mount
The new Aero6-DS forged six-piston caliper delivers big brake performance for the street or track. It incorporates race technology into a body design with wide-range adaptability. Radial mounting, multiple piston volume options, and a rotor diameter range from 12.88” to 15.00” give this caliper the versatility to meet all types of high-performance braking requirements. The new Aero6-DS is the latest innovation in the Aero series of calipers, incorporating a unique dust seal that further protects the piston bore from dust and corrosion, allowing it to be used in locations where an environmental sealing method is required. The Aero Series body is forged using the stress-flow forging process from a premium-grade aluminum alloy blank. This process realigns the internal grain structure of the metal to flow within the contour of the caliper body. This process eliminates the stresses and interruptions to the internal grain structure that occurs when machining a straight block. The result is a caliper with superior clamping efficiency and maximum resistance against fatigue, stress, and deflection under load.
