Narrow Superlite Billet 6-Piston Mount

The second generation of the Narrow SL6 series has been redesigned using Wilwood's latest technology. High-strength billet bodies with internal fluid passages allow the calipers to be mounted on either the front or rear of the axle with the same part number.

Featuring the same 3.50" center lug mount as the original Superlite Narrow caliper. Each caliper is precision CNC-machined from a high-strength forging with a redesigned outer body that improves wheel clearance and appearance. Calipers are available in black, red powder coat, and a high-quality polished finish to complement any application. A fifth central bridge bolt provides even more overall strength and easy pad access without removing the caliper from the bracket. A unique six-piston differential bore configuration provides balanced loading for even pad wear in sustained high-temperature environments. Standard SL6 calipers feature one-piece stainless steel pistons. Stainless steel is used for its low heat transfer properties and high resistance to corrosion. Additionally, every SL6 is equipped with SRS bridge plates. SRS plates eliminate all bridge wear caused by pad rub and extend caliper life. The spring action of the SRS plates also eliminates pad rattle and dampens harmonic vibrations that contribute to pad squeal. Two-piece bleed screws are flush-mounted to protect them from track debris and other potential sources of damage. High-temperature square-faced bore seals provide the largest possible sealing area and controlled piston retraction upon release. The full range of Wilwood pad compounds is available to match the braking response and temperature range of any high-performance street or competition application.
