Aero6 Radial Mount
The new Aero6/ST forged six-piston caliper offers massive stopping power for road or track. It incorporates race-proven technology into a body design with wide-ranging adaptability. Radial mounting, multiple piston volume options, and rotor diameter ranging from 12.88” to 15.00” give it the versatility to satisfy all types of high-power braking requirements. The new Aero6 is the latest innovation in the W4A/W6A series of calipers. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate external fluid crossover tubes and the massive center bridge assembly. Equipped with Thermlock piston technology and Wilwood’s Type III anodized coating.
Using the new 0.80” thick 6620 pad plate, Aero6/ST calipers provide longer pad life for high heat endurance racing. The Aero Series body is stress-flow forged from a premium grade aluminum alloy block. Stress-flow forging realigns the internal grain structure of the metal to flow within the contour of the caliper body. This process eliminates the stresses and interruptions in the internal grain structure that occur when machining a straight block. The result is a caliper with superior clamping efficiency and ultimate resistance to fatigue, stresses, and deflection under load. class="Gray11B">6Rotor Dimensions
