Aero6 Radial Mount
The new Aero6-ST forged six-piston caliper offers powerful braking for road or track. It incorporates race technology into a wide-adaptability body design. Radial mounting, multiple piston volume options, and a rotor diameter range from 12.88" to 15.00" give it the versatility to meet all types of high-power braking requirements. The new Aero4 is the latest innovation in the W4A/W6A caliper series. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate external fluid crossover tubes and the massive center bridge assembly. Equipped with Thermlock piston technology and Wilwood's Type III anodized finish. Utilizing the new 0.80"-thick 6620 pad plate, Aero6-ST calipers offer extended pad life for high-heat endurance racing. The Aero series body is stress-flow forged from a premium aluminum alloy billet. Stress-flow forging realigns the metal's internal grain structure to flow within the contour of the caliper body. This process eliminates stresses and interruptions in the internal grain structure that occur when machining a straight billet. The result is a caliper with superior clamping efficiency and maximum strength against fatigue, stress, and deflection under load. class="Gray11B">6
