Aero4 Radial Mount
The new Aero4-ST forged four-piston caliper delivers high-performance stopping power for road or track. It incorporates race technology into a body design with broad adaptability. Radial mounting, multiple piston volume options, and rotor diameter from 12.88” to 15.00” provide the versatility to meet all types of high-power braking requirements. The new Aero4 is the latest innovation in the W4A/W6A series of calipers. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate external fluid crossover tubes and the massive center bridge assembly. Equipped with Thermlock piston technology and Wilwood’s Type III hard anodized finish.
Utilizing the new 0.80” thick 6620 pad plate, Aero4-ST calipers offer extended pad life for high-heat endurance racing. The Aero series body is stress-flow forged from a premium aluminum alloy billet. Stress-flow forging realigns the metal’s internal grain structure to flow within the contour of the caliper body. This process eliminates the stresses and interruptions in the internal grain structure that occur when machining a straight block. The result is a caliper with superior clamping efficiency and maximum resistance against fatigue, stress, and distortion under load. class="Gray11B">4Rotor Dimensions
