D52-R Single Piston Floating Caliper
Wilwood's new heavy-duty competition brake caliper, the D52-R, features a 4.3 lb (1.95 kg) Type III hard anodized forged aluminum body and a stainless steel piston. Choose from 2.75" or 2.38" wide pistons, and 0.81", 1.04", and 1.28" thick brake rotors, with common diameters of 11.75", 12.19", and up to 12.50". The caliper's fluid inlet port, centered directly behind the piston, eliminates any interference with the slide pins. With a lower deflection rate and higher volumetric efficiency than heavier cast competitive models, D52-R calipers also use standard D52 pads available in a variety of compounds for every application. The brake caliper mounting uses original GM height and offset. The D52-R caliper, also known as the D52R caliper, is the pinnacle design for OEM replacement competition brake calipers.
