Wilwood’s Narrow DynaPro four piston radial mount brake calipers combine the versatility of radial mounting with a sleek profile, superior strength, and extreme durability under adverse conditions. With an overall weight of just 3.58 pounds, the DynaPro has become the preferred choice for a wide range of sport driving, rally, and off-road applications. The Narrow DynaPro combines the versatility of radial mounting with a sleek profile, superior strength, and extreme durability under adverse conditions.
The DynaPro’s strength is a combination of process and design. The flow forging process under actual stress realigns the internal grain structure of the metal to flow within the contour of the caliper body. This produces a component with superior strength over parts machined from solid blocks or castings. The body design, generated through Finite Element Analysis (FEA), features a radial transition between the piston bores and the caliper bridges. This eliminates machined steps and shoulders in this critical strength area and substantially increases resistance to deflection and body separation under high loads. Structural deflection and volumetric displacement tests have proven the effectiveness of this innovative design. In short, it delivers a firm pedal with exceptional stopping power. The Narrow DynaPro fits up to 12.19” rotors and features thick-walled stainless steel pistons for added protection against corrosion and heat transfer from the pads. All DynaPro calipers can also be equipped with Thermlock pistons for maximum thermal protection in sustained high-heat applications. The DynaPro incorporates other Wilwood exclusive performance enhancements. Stainless steel SRS bridge plates eliminate caliper bridge wear from pad drag, while damping noise and vibration during engagement. Internal fluid passages eliminate the need for external cross-over tubes and four corner bleed screws allow for effective air evacuation, regardless of mounting location. class="Gray11B">4
