Aero4-DS Radial Mount
The new Aero4-DS four-piston forged caliper provides big braking power for street or track. The caliper incorporates race-bred technology into a body design with wide-ranging adaptability. Radial mounting, multiple piston volume options, and rotor diameter ranging from 12.88" to 15.00" give this caliper the versatility to meet all types of high-power braking requirements. The new Aero4-DS is the latest innovation in the Aero series of calipers, which incorporates an exclusive dust wiper seal to provide even further protection to the piston bore from dust and corrosion, allowing for use in locations where an environmental sealing method is required. The Aero series body is forged using the stress-flow forging process from a premium-grade aluminum alloy billet. This process realigns the internal grain structure of the metal to flow within the contour of the caliper body. This process eliminates the stresses and interruptions to the internal grain structure that are found when machining a straight block. The result is a caliper with superior clamping efficiency and ultimate resistance to fatigue, stress, and deflection under load.
