This system includes 8 NX designed direct port nozzles (STD), 2 NX Lightning nitrous solenoids, 2 NX Lightning fuel solenoids, anodized aluminum distribution blocks, 3/16" stainless steel hard lines, nickel-plated fittings, jetting for 200-500 HP, 6AN nitrous feed lines, a high-flow 6AN Y-fitting, a wide open throttle switch, 40-amp relays and relay harnesses, master arming switch, stainless steel bottle brackets and a 10lb nitrous bottle with the NX Lightning valve.

The key to making maximum nitrous horsepower is to keep the nitrous in a dense liquid state until it is injected into the engine. Sharp bends in the nitrous flow path cause turbulence, which causes gas bubbles. Liquid nitrous, being dense, makes more horsepower than gaseous nitrous. Period! NX Lightning solenoids feature optimized flow where the nitrous/fuel enters the top of the seat and exits out the bottom, achieving unmatched flow in the industry. The Lightning nitrous solenoids incorporate an integral purge port allowing a purge valve to be connected directly to the solenoid body. Purging through the solenoid body eliminates the air pocket between the purge valve and the solenoid orifice. Lightning fuel solenoids feature a bypass port allowing a small return line to be connected to the tank. This eliminates the air trapped between the fuel pressure regulator and the solenoid thereby preventing the lean spike associated with other solenoids. The Lightning series solenoids feature CNC-machined billet aluminum bodies and carbon fiber cans for maximum weight reduction.
