The CAN-Bus communication module connects to the expansion port of the ECUMASTER EMU computer.
The list of CAN protocols compatible with EMU includes: BMW, Citroën, VW, Ford, and Lotus (among others).
Additionally, it is possible to work with instrument clusters that use the Motec M800 or Haltech E8 E11v2 protocol.
Usage examples:
- Control of BMW E46 gauges via CAN-bus through EMU. These gauges are controlled using CAN and analog and digital signals (hybrid solution). Via CAN, the speedometer, water temperature, Check Engine Light, MEL warning light, and excessive water temperature warning light can be controlled. The CAN speed in the E46 is 500 kb/s. Ecumaster brand products are not shipped to the USA, Canada, or Mexico.
