PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MMR RP750 Track brake pads are not ECE-R90 approved for use on public roads in the UK and EU.
MMR RP750 Track & Motorsport Rear Brake Pads are a replacement upgrade for your OEM pads, alongside our RP750 Track front pad set, for track and motorsport use. With a stable friction coefficient of up to 750°c they are an excellent high performance solution for even the most demanding track and motorsport applications. Please note they are not ECE-R90 approved for road use in the EU/UK.
MMR Performance RP750 Track & Motorsport Rear Brake Pads are an ultra-high-performance solution designed for aggressively tracked F Series Performance vehicles and race cars. They are a direct replacement for the original pads, for vehicles using the factory braking system. Much of the compound testing has focused on developing the characteristics of these brake pads for track use, achieving a very stable friction coefficient of 0.45µm throughout the entire operating temperature range of 100-750°c (and beyond). This makes them an excellent choice in even the most demanding applications.
Our testing process also focused on ensuring the compound delivers high friction levels from cold, requiring virtually no warm-up to achieve maximum braking effect. This is especially important for challenging first laps, or for vehicles used in short duration competitions such as autocross, drift or hillclimbs.
RP750 pads are supplied with a stainless steel backing plate to help manage the crucial conduction of heat away from the friction surface.
The chosen compound also helps ensure a progressive pedal response, helping drivers to modulate braking pressure despite the 'over-servoed' feel F Series cars can present on track.
As these are a pad compound developed primarily for optimum track performance, higher levels of brake dust and noise should be expected. However, compared to most full track/race options, good pad life and excellent disc life can be expected.
It is important to note that MMR RP750 track brake pads are not ECE-R90 approved for use on public roads in the UK and EU. Nevertheless, as this material possesses excellent cold performance characteristics, they can safely be used to drive to and from motorsport events (local legislation allowing, of course).
Sold separately in car axle sets, including either four front pads or four rear pads (this order is for a rear set). Ideally, front and rear sets should be replaced at the same time, rather than mixing brands or compounds.
Front RP750 pad part number: MMR27-0502F
Finally, before you choose these RP750 track brake pads, remember that MMR also offers the RP650 compound brake pads. These RP650 pads excel in fast road driving and light track use, generate lower levels of noise and dust, and are fully road-legal - meaning they may be a better choice for some drivers.

FITTING INFO
Bedding in: After installation, perform 10 brake applications from 100mph (60mph) down to 10-15mph (5-10mph). At the end of each brake application, immediately accelerate up to approximately 100mph (60mph) for the next one (exact speed is not crucial).
When slowing down to approximately 10-15mph (5-10mph), there is no need to look at the speedometer; just keep your eyes on the road and estimate your approximate speed at the end of each cycle. Do not come to a complete stop as this may leave pad imprints on the disc and cause judder.
On the eighth or ninth brake application, a distinctive odour should be sensed coming from the brakes. After several stops, smoke may also be seen. Also, from the eighth or ninth stop, some friction materials will experience a slight loss in brake efficiency. This loss will stabilise but will not go away completely until the brakes have cooled down.
