An essential element for airflow between the intake and the turbo is RacingLine's High-Flow Intake Hose. Replace the restrictive standard plastic pipe with this ultra-smooth, free-flowing reinforced silicone hose. Compatible with all MQB EA888.3 1.8T and 2.0T vehicles. This hose comes in a brilliant blue color.
The RacingLine High-Flow Intake Hose is compatible with all MQB 2.0 and 1.8 TSI vehicles with the third-generation EA888 engine. The reinforced intake hose has been designed to increase airflow to the turbocharger, making it the perfect complement to RacingLine's R600 intake, the original airbox, or any other aftermarket intake.
Its maximum diameter, ultra-smooth, glossy silicone, with smooth transitions, promotes laminar airflow. By eliminating the restrictive and turbulent airflow path produced by the standard plastic bellows pipe between the intake and the turbocharger, the high-flow turbo intake hose provides a noticeable power gain.
Installation is simple: it completely replaces the restrictive factory rear plastic bellows pipe between the air filter box and the turbocharger inlet, smoothly channeling airflow from the intake to the turbo inlet. Installation is very simple. The hose installs in about 10 minutes with hand tools. And the original can be easily reinstalled if desired.
It is essential to highlight that it has been carefully designed to allow the flexibility necessary for proper engine movement under load without damaging the intake.
Equally important, the RacingLine hose offers great rigidity to prevent any deformation under pressure or heat. This is achieved by including reinforced silicone elements in critical areas to prevent compression under load.
Direct comparisons with the factory intake pipe on RacingLine's dyno reveal an impressive improvement in airflow, making this hose an excellent complement to the R600 intake.
