Forge Motorsport FMDVF22R Closed Loop Diverter Valve Kit for BMW M235i

This closed-loop (silent running) dump valve has been designed for the BMW 235 3.0 Turbo petrol engines, such as those found in the F22 chassis with the electronically controlled bypass valve. This product is recommended for both stock vehicles and those whose boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade, as a replacement for the standard bypass valve. Unfortunately, the standard plastic valve deteriorates over time and results in the engine check light illuminating. Additionally, the valve may only be partially operating, and it is impossible to identify it as being responsible for power loss. The valve can also dislodge when the turbo is removed or in more extreme cases, be found inside the turbo, causing major damage. The alternative offered by Forge provides a much greater reliability. This valve operates with a piston, to avoid fragile diaphragms, and is made from aluminum. It is also easy to service and the spring force can be adjusted to suit higher boost pressure levels. Most importantly, it maintains valve control via the ECU, with an electrical harness that connects directly to the BMW circuit. It is literally plug and play. Only available in black.
