FUEL SYSTEM INSTALLATION KIT
VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY: Mazda MX-5A (1989-2005). A large bore 8AN feed line runs to the back of the fuel tank. This line connects to a new high-flow fuel filter, installed in the factory location using a machined bracket. A 10 micron stainless steel (-03) or 6 micron glass micro-fiber (-05) element is used, depending on the selected kit.
An 8AN PTFE fuel line runs from the fuel filter along the factory hard lines.
This 8AN PTFE line feeds the RA Series Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR), installed under the right shock tower. From the FPR, an 8AN PTFE fuel line feeds the front port of an aftermarket fuel rail (not included). Mazda 1.6L B6 fuel rail or Mazda 1.8L BP fuel rail sold separately. The original fuel supply line is repurposed as the high-flow return line. The original fuel line connects directly to the FPR return fitting.
A fuel pressure gauge is mounted directly into the feed line for easy adjustment.
