Product details
20-0588 VTA BAFFLED OIL CAP KIT, GM. This is a VTA (vent to atmosphere) billet anodized aluminum oil cap. It is a direct replacement for the OEM oil cap.
Confirmed engine compatibility: LS1, LS2, LS3, LS4, LS6, LS7, LS9, LSA, L76, L99, L9H, LT1, LT2, LT4. NOTE: Other compatible engines exist that are not listed.
This kit prevents crankcase pressurization. The vented oil cap adds additional air/oil separation filtration to the crankcase, with no maintenance required. The 10AN adapter features an integrated check valve for roll-over protection. NOTES: 1. VTA kits are not permitted by some racing organizations and sanctioning bodies. 2. Depending on the vehicle, an ECU code could be triggered as the engine no longer burns all metered air. 3. If degreasing the engine, the filter should be covered to prevent foreign liquids from entering.
