We design the half-shaft strength to be slightly lower than the differential output shafts. Our half-shafts use low-wear, high-strength CV joints. Since expensive drivetrain components are becoming more common in most rally, drift, and race cars, it’s important to create a system that contributes to their durability. The key lies in a superior axle material that not only has high creep resistance but can also withstand deformation or twisting. Should any part of the drivetrain need to give way, Wisefab half-shafts will withstand the impact. Our half-shafts flex to absorb critical excess torque. In these situations, Wisefab axles can twist up to at least 90 degrees, often reaching 180 or even 360 degrees without failing, allowing you to finish the race without issues. Please note that twisting will not occur until the torque limit is reached. If your axles twist more than 90 degrees, replacement is recommended.
