RacingLine Sport Springs have been carefully developed exclusively for Formentor 2.0 TSI and 2.0 TDI 4Drive models, which means your Formentor will still offer an excellent ride, but with noticeably more dynamic handling. They lower the height by around 30mm, the ideal height to eliminate the fender gap typical of SUVs. In other words, just as it should have come from the factory.

RacingLine Sport Springs replace all four standard springs with redesigned, progressively rated, slightly shorter sport springs. These springs lower the Formentor's height by around 30mm both front and rear (depending on model and version) to preserve the suspension travel necessary for optimal ride and handling. If springs lower or stiffer than RacingLine's are chosen, the car tends to bounce and suffer from jarring, as the shock absorbers are not correctly adjusted to the spring rate and the springs run out of travel.

The result? The vehicle's center of gravity is lowered, reducing body roll for improved dynamics, without compromising ride quality or comfort.

What's more, its SUV look is subtly transformed. By eliminating the unsightly wheel arch gaps, it will look just as it always should have from the factory!

RacingLine's extensive development program has specified progressively stiffer springs to preserve ride quality under normal use, but stiffening them at the end of the stroke. This progressive spring construction means that the stiffness in the mid-stroke is very similar to standard. RacingLine has designed the spring to stiffen only at the end of the stroke (i.e., under braking or high-speed cornering). This progressive spring design is the secret to excellent ride quality combined with exceptional dynamic performance.

The Sport Springs are designed to be fully compatible with vehicles equipped with Cupra's switchable DCC (adjustable chassis control) dampers.
