RacingLine Lowering Sport Spring Kit for Volkswagen VW T-Roc R

These RacingLine Sport Springs have been developed exclusively for the T-Roc R, meaning your R will continue to deliver an excellent ride, but with significantly superior handling dynamics. They lower the height by approximately 25 mm, the ideal height without the typical gaps between the wheel and the fender. In other words, just as it should have come from the factory.

RacingLine Sport Springs replace all four standard springs with redesigned, progressive-rate, slightly shorter sport springs. These springs lower the T-Roc R by approximately 25 mm at both the front and rear to preserve the suspension travel needed for optimal ride and handling. If springs lower or stiffer than RacingLine's are chosen, the car tends to bounce and suffer from harshness, as the shock absorbers are not properly matched to the spring rate and the springs run out of travel.

The result? The vehicle's center of gravity is lowered, reducing body roll for improved dynamics, without sacrificing ride quality or comfort.

Furthermore, the car's SUV aesthetic is subtly transformed. By eliminating those unsightly wheel arch gaps found on SUVs, it will look as it always should have looked from the factory!

RacingLine's extensive development program has specified progressive-rate springs to preserve ride comfort during normal use, but stiffening them at the end of their travel. This progressive-rate spring construction means that the spring rate in the middle of the travel is very similar to standard. It's only towards the end of the spring's travel (i.e., when braking or cornering at high speed) that RacingLine has designed the spring to stiffen. This progressive-rate spring design is the secret to excellent ride comfort combined with dynamic performance.

The sport springs are developed to be fully compatible with vehicles equipped with Volkswagen's switchable DCC (adaptive chassis control) dampers.
