Wisefab BMW E36 and E46 rear uprights are robust and stiff, yet relatively lightweight compared to stock solutions. Made from high-strength steel, our uprights feature an improved 4-bolt wheel bearing design, dual brake caliper mounts, and a very practical toe adjustment that allows for increased vehicle grip.
With a single caliper, all E36 and E46 rear brake systems are compatible, except for the E46 M3. With dual calipers, E46 330 brakes with 320x22mm discs must be used. The minimum rear wheel size with 330 brakes is 16”. Wheel/tire clearance is the same as with the stock upright. 30-spline axles are required; we recommend using the Wisefab axle kit. Coilover suspension is assumed. Stock upper arms will not fit without modification. The upright can be installed without modifying the body/chassis and with the stock front mount, but for maximum grip, suspension travel, and toe control, some modifications are required.
