FMIC.EU LS LSX LS1 LS2 LS6 LM7 4AN Steam Vent Hose Kit. Includes complete cooling system.
Installing steam vent hoses at all cylinder head points effectively reduces detonation in cylinders 7 and 8. This kit is essential for high-mileage engines and for units with increased power.
Compatibility: LS engine family: LS1, LS2, LS6, LM7 (not compatible with Fast Intake manifolds)
Features:
- Complete ventilation system for the front and rear of the engine
- 4AN stainless steel and anodized 6061 aluminum connectors with all fittings and hoses
- Lightweight design, maximum flow, no Teflon tape required
- Heavy-duty braided nylon hoses
Kit includes:
- 3 –4AN T-connectors (female-male)
- 4 –4AN steam vent connectors
- 7 –4AN hose end connectors
- Open-ended nylon hose for connection to the factory radiator steam vent port
Installation Notes: Some radiators are equipped with a 3/8" barbed fitting. Possible solutions:
- Apply WD-40 to the hose and press it firmly onto the barb. - Stretch the hose overnight or heat it before installation. - Use a –4 to –6 hose adapter with the appropriate fittings
