The VR30DDTT twin-turbo engine in the Infiniti Q50 and Q60 (2016+ models) provides impressive power with minimal modification and plenty of headroom if basic modifications aren't enough. This, coupled with the option of all-wheel drive, puts the Q series in a unique spot within the Nissan/Infiniti lineup, one that certainly deserves our engineering team’s attention. During the development of our liquid-to-air intercooler, our engineers noted the stock rubber coolant hoses posed a potential point of failure as the Q platform ages. As such, we set out to develop a replacement hose kit using durable silicone, boasting superior lifespan and performance over the stock hoses. Mishimoto silicone hoses are constructed from five layers of silicone with embedded heat-resistant fibers. The silicone construction improves heat tolerance, and the inner fiber layer provides increased resistance to pressure. Additionally, silicone offers better physical properties than EPDM rubber, making it more resistant to degradation over time. Our intercooler coolant hose kit includes a full set of stainless-steel worm gear clamps, and each hose is labeled for straightforward installation. We offer this kit in black, blue, or red.
