The competition intercooler has a core size of 580 mm x 437 mm x 56 mm = 14,193 cm³, which provides a 226% larger frontal area and 246% more volume compared to the stock intercooler. Our engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the end tank design to remove any restrictions from the original system, resulting in increased flow and improved charge cooling properties. This intercooler uses our award-winning WAGNERTUNING competition intercooler core, which was developed specifically for this application. It is constructed from the highest quality tube and fin intercooler cores with internal turbulators and CFD-optimized cast aluminum end tanks for optimal internal airflow. Thanks to additional air guides in the internal inlet, a uniform filling of the intercooler is ensured. The result is excellent cooling properties and a significantly lower pressure drop than the stock intercooler. Despite its size, the weight of the complete intercooler is only 7.6 kg. The intercooler inlets and outlets have been increased to Ø 65 mm, which is why this kit includes reinforced silicone hoses. This intercooler kit is the best choice for performance gains and low intake temperatures, and is also ideal for racing.
