The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new competition core (Tube Fin) with the dimensions 550 mm x 168 [139] mm x 120 [100] mm [stepped] / 21,6Inch x 6,6 [5,5] Inch x 4,7 [3,9] Inch [stepped], which was developed specifically for the demands of the BMW E46 diesel engines. This high-performance core offers an 31% larger frontal area and 205% more volume compared to the stock intercooler.
The cast aluminum end tanks were designed in CAD and optimized with CFD simulations (for an ideal internal airflow). The result is excellent cooling performance with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore perfect for racing. Optimal cooling of the charge air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion powder coating with excellent thermal conductivity properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from all environmental influences, so that a lasting and optimal cooling effect can be guaranteed. The installation is done by replacing the original intercooler and is very simple (plug and play). All our products are subject to continuous qualitative monitoring.
