All the power in the world is pretty useless if the stock brakes aren't up to the job. RacingLine's Stage 2 'EVO' Monoblock Brake Upgrade Kit is an ultra-durable braking solution developed exclusively for performance VWG road and occasional track cars.

This brake kit has been developed from RacingLine's decades of motorsport experience, and, as expected, provides exceptional stopping power time and time again. And all at an affordable price.

The lightweight, one-piece monoblock construction is usually reserved for the highest specification competition kits, being much stiffer and lighter than the original calipers. The extensive piston sizing development program provides an excellent progressive pedal feel, and this is because (unlike many) RacingLine only develops brakes for VWG vehicles.

This monoblock construction means the kit weighs almost half as much as the original, representing a significant saving in unsprung mass. The caliper, pad, and bracket assembly weighs 4.4 kg (9.7 lb) compared to the factory kit's 8.6 kg (18.9 lb) for the Golf 7R.

A larger 345mm x 30mm triple-grooved monoblock disc offers greater thermal capacity, thus reducing the overheating effect. At least 17" wheels are required for installation.

The pad size is now exactly the same as used on a Ferrari F40. The Stage 2 'EVO' kit includes composite ceramic sport pads with the ideal compound for spirited road driving. Furthermore, since RacingLine has designed the calipers around a generic pad size, you can choose any brand and specification of pads when it's time to replace them.

Everything needed for installation: discs, calipers, mounting brackets, high-performance brake pads, and braided stainless steel brake lines are included. Plus, you have the option to install RacingLine's 5mm hub adaptors for extra clearance with original wheels. Install and drive!
