This kit is specifically designed to replace the Porsche 996.110.253.52 fuel filter. This filter mounts to the top left of the rear engine bay of 996 and 997.1 chassis for all AWD and GT2/GT3 911 models. The Radium kit installs in minutes. No cutting or drilling is required. Only a couple of tools are needed.
Since the Radium filter is less restrictive than the stock Porsche filter, the fuel pump load is reduced. Lower pressures before the filter allow for lower current draw, and thus lower fuel temperature. Furthermore, this allows for increased fuel flow. The filter is compatible with alternative fuels such as methanol, ethanol, E85, etc.
Includes: Machined aluminum fuel filter (selectable element), machined aluminum filter fitting (Porsche specific), machined aluminum filter adapter, machined aluminum SAE fitting, PTFE, 6AN fuel hose, and stainless steel hardware.
