Add the durability and cooling power your M3 or M4 needs with the Mishimoto Performance Oil Cooler Kit for the 2015–2020 BMW M3/M4. As usual, BMW engineers designed the M3/M4's oil cooler with efficient use of space in mind. Suspended perpendicularly from the rest of the cooling stack, this location takes advantage of the Bimmer's aerodynamics to cool the oil, while also exposing the lightweight tube-and-fin cooler to road hazards. At Mishimoto, we made sure to reinforce the entire oil cooling system design for the F80/82 with our performance oil cooler. We replaced the lightweight design with a TIG-welded aluminum bar-and-plate cooler for increased strength and cooling. Bar-and-plate is a much more robust form of heat exchanger core construction, designed for better heat transfer and with the strength needed to stand up to potential road debris, keeping your oil temps in check. We also increased the core thickness by 10mm, resulting in a 46% increase in core volume, and increased oil capacity by 0.4 quarts. Additionally, we wanted to provide more protection to the system by improving the piping. From the factory, these vehicles come equipped with rigid lines that are highly resistant to abrasion and corrosion. Our oil cooler kit includes a pair of robust, application-specific flexible lines that provide a more secure oil flow to your vehicle. Also included are our specially designed adapters that allow for AN connections from the S55 oil pump and a secure connection to the oil cooler. The Mishimoto Performance Oil Cooler Kit for the 2015–2020 BMW M3/M4 is a direct fit for the stock unit and includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty for a simplified, worry-free installation.
