Ford's cast iron engines, based on 1960s designs, tended to continuously overheat. Using an efficient oil cooling system eliminates this problem and allows for very dynamic driving. The oil cooling kit for classic Ford Mustangs is a solution created for drivers who want to enjoy the reliability and durability of their engines without sacrificing the car's original character. With a complete set of carefully selected components, upgrading the lubrication system is straightforward, resulting in a fully professional outcome. Implementing engine oil cooling ensures that the lubrication system maintains significantly lower operating temperatures. This, in turn, translates into increased durability of the engine and its components, as cooler oil retains its lubricating properties and dissipates heat more effectively. A specially designed hose guide prevents hoses from kinking and keeps them properly positioned. The set includes two types of fittings: straight and angled. This allows for optimal routing of hoses within the engine compartment.
The oil filter base contains a thermostat that automatically regulates engine oil temperature.
The implemented system allowed for a reduction in oil temperature by up to 30°C.
It enables very dynamic vehicle use with minimal risk of oil overheating.

The oil cooler kit was designed in a CAD environment based on 3D scans of the vehicle, ensuring high precision and a perfect fit with body components. Specially designed brackets allow for simple and aesthetic installation of the cooler on the front panel. These brackets are made of carbon fiber reinforced composite material, providing high strength and mounting stability. The design includes routing of oil lines through the side wall of the engine compartment. The robustly engineered cooler can withstand pressures up to 10 bar. The cooler core is made of special aluminum alloys with increased heat resistance, ensuring its durability. Its elongated construction forces the oil to travel a longer path, allowing for greater temperature reduction. The side mounts of the core are CNC machined, ensuring excellent manufacturing quality and precision. The FMIC.Pro cooler features AN10 JIC male thread. Core dimensions: 240 × 140 × 40 mm, total width: 290 mm. The oil filter base, manufactured by FMIC.Pro, is made of CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum. The surface of the oil filter base is anodized, providing excellent durability and oxidation resistance. This version is equipped with a thermostat that opens at 85°C, allowing the oil to quickly warm up after engine start and only begin cooling when necessary. The product features two 1/8″ NPT threaded ports and is compatible with most common oil filter types. The kit includes mounting adapters with M20×1.5 and 3/4-16 UNF threads. Additionally, a Viton gasket is supplied, a material known for its exceptional resistance to high temperatures and oil, ensuring a secure and reliable seal.
