TWIN-DISC CLUTCH KIT FOR 1.8 TSI EA888 GEN 2 - SEAT LEON / OCTAVIA 5 / PASSAT

Our twin-disc clutch has been designed by our in-house engineers and extensively tested in drag racing, drift, and daily-use vehicles to achieve excellent pedal feel, high torque capacity, and reliability. The friction materials are ceramic, manufactured in Germany, and the outside diameter ranges from 185 mm to 200 mm.

All replacement components, such as the clutch diaphragm spring, pivot ring, pressure plate, clutch discs, floater discs, etc., are available individually to replace any worn component, so you won't have to buy a whole new clutch kit. The surfaces of the pressure plate and floater disc are precision-ground to provide a uniform and smooth friction zone. The hub splines are made of high-strength steel and subsequently heat-treated to increase surface hardness.

We recommend that buyers opt for 20% higher torque than their engine's peak torque if the intended use includes frequent launch control. Flat-shift operation.

Please note that when using Launch Control and Flat Shifting, wear is exponential.

If the crankshaft thrust is 180 degrees, it is recommended to add a second thrust bearing, as the crankshaft is subject to greater axial loads.
