Manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the MMR Performance thermostat housing cover upgrade kit for BMW N55, N54, and S55 engines offers a high-quality aesthetic improvement over the original cover. Installation is extremely simple, and the end result is spectacular.
The billet covers are anodized in our signature MMR gloss black for a flawless finish. If you are installing an oil pressure sensor or oil temperature gauge, you can select the optional additional cover with a 1/8 NPT thread when placing your order.
By eliminating the factory plastic parts, you will prevent the inevitable cracks and leaks that often appear over time and with increased mileage. Peace of mind has never looked so good.
As an additional option, the MMR Performance thermostat housing cover kit can include an adapter for an oil pressure sensor or oil temperature gauge with a 1/8 NPT thread for BMW N55, N54, and S55 engines. Installation is extremely simple, and the final result speaks for itself; a must-have accessory for those who want their engine bay to look impeccable.
Note:
If you are installing an oil pressure sensor or oil temperature gauge, please select the optional additional part with a 1/8 NPT thread from the drop-down menu.
If these parts are exposed to excessive heat for prolonged periods, the finish may be affected, which is inevitable with anodized aluminum products.
