EGR valve removal kit with blanking plate for BMW with 3.0 D M57N engines

Over time, your vehicle's EGR system can become clogged with tar and sediment, which affects fuel consumption and performance. The TAFMET EGR kit is a direct and simple replacement that solves these problems.

Kit contents and specifications:

1 x EGR replacement pipe (54mm outer diameter, 114mm length, stainless steel - lifetime warranty)

1 x blanking plate (stainless steel - lifetime warranty)

1 x gasket for blanking plate

1 x flange gasket

2 x blanking plate bolts with washers

4 x EGR bypass bolts with washers

1 x CNC machined aluminum plug for the lower EGR cooler hose

1 x CNC machined aluminum vented plug for the EGR thermostat hose

1 x CNC machined aluminum bleed screw and O-ring

This kit includes our EGR cooler hose plugs, which allow the EGR cooler and thermostat to be removed, as they become unnecessary after removing the EGR valve.

Note! In general, for models up to 2002-2004, the ECU warning light will not come on. On later models with pneumatic and electronic EGR valves, installing this part could cause the ECU warning light to come on. We recommend reprogramming the ECU to completely remove the EGR function; this process can be performed by a remapping specialist.
