Radium Engineering catch cans feature oversized 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, two-stage oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick.

20-0387-FL Double Catch Can Kit, MK4 Supra, Fluid Lock. These cans vent to the engine, allowing for a true PCV system. Both cans work completely independently and do NOT vent to atmosphere (VTA), so they are emissions compliant and track legal. Closed loop systems remove oil and sludge from PCV gases before they reach the engine for combustion. A closed-loop system also promotes negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Additionally, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin.

One can connects in-line with the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve and retains its factory function. When intake manifold pressure is at or above atmospheric pressure, the PCV check valve closes and thus this hose experiences no flow. Conversely, the PCV hose will experience controlled vacuum when the engine is idling, steady state, and decelerating. This would normally draw unwanted crankcase vapors, unburnt fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately after high-load operation. Note: Because Radium catch cans are pressure sealed, they are ideal for this turbocharged application, allowing connection to the intake manifold. The hose and fittings for the PCV catch can are -6AN.

The other catch can, connected in-line with the crankcase vent (CCV) port, experiences atmospheric pressure at low loads. But when the engine is under high load (WOT), this hose will experience blow-by flow from the crankcase. This would normally cause oil and sludge to build up in the air filter intake tube. Oil accumulation in the intercooler reduces the heat exchanger's thermal efficiency and decreases performance. The hose and fittings for the CCV catch can are -8AN.

Due to the numerous OEM component variations for this chassis, 3 different brackets are included for optimal mounting. These multiple locations offer a solution for all right-hand drive (RHD) and left-hand drive (LHD) vehicles, including those with a large aftermarket turbo, the stock twin turbos, upgraded brake master cylinder, and even older models with rear brake traction control (TRAC). All brackets utilize factory bolt holes and integrate seamlessly with surrounding components. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications to the vehicle are required.

NOTE: This catch can kit is NOT compatible with Radium's push-on valve cover fittings for 2JZ engines. The push-on fittings are -10AN, and this kit is designed for 8AN and 6AN hoses.
