The integrated dipsticks in the cans allow for easy inspection of the accumulated fluid. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications to the vehicle are required.\u003cbr\u003e\nTo keep the symmetry Nissan designed into the VQ37VHR engine bay, the oil catch cans are bolted to the right and left shock tower.\u003cbr\u003e\nNo permanent modifications are required. The two oil catch cans work in-line with the dual PCV valves integrated into the valve covers, retaining factory functionality. When intake manifold pressure is at or above atmospheric pressure, the PCV system's check valves close and therefore these hoses experience no flow. Conversely, the PCV system hoses experience controlled vacuum when the engine is idling, at steady state, and decelerating.
