PCV Oil Catch Can Tank Kit for Nissan Z33 V35 VQ35DE Fluid Lock Radium Engineering

Radium Engineering oil catch cans feature oversized 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, two-stage oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. These kits install using factory holes and integrate seamlessly with surrounding components. They do not vent to atmosphere (VTA), so they are emissions compliant and legal for track use. Closed-loop systems remove oil and sludge from PCV gasses before they reach the engine for combustion. A closed-loop system also promotes negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Additionally, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin. Dipsticks integrated into the catch cans allow for easy inspection of accumulated fluid. When intake manifold pressure is near or above atmospheric pressure, the PCV check valve closes, and this hose therefore experiences no flow. Conversely, the PCV hoses will experience a "metered" vacuum when the engine is idling, at steady state, and decelerating. This would normally draw unwanted crankcase vapors, unburnt fuel and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately after a high load operation. NOTE: An in-line check valve is not required, as Radium oil catch cans are pressure sealed. This allows for a direct connection to the intake manifold.

The oil catch can mounts to the OEM power steering reservoir bracket. This kit traps unwanted crankcase vapors, unburnt fuel, and oil sludge. It promotes the return of clean, filtered air to the intake manifold.
