Closed loop systems remove oil and sludge from PCV gases before they ever reach the engine for combustion. A closed loop system also promotes negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Furthermore, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin. The integrated dipsticks on the catch cans allow for easy inspection of the accumulated fluid.
