Oil Catch Can Kit for Toyota Chaser 96-01 / Cresta 96-01 / Mark II 96-00 Fluid Lock

COMPATIBILITY: Toyota Chaser 96-01 (all models/versions/engines), Toyota Cresta 96-01 (all models/versions/engines), Toyota Mark II 96-00 (all models/versions/engines).

Radium Engineering Oil Catch Cans feature oversized 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, two-stage oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. This kit installs using factory mounting holes and seamlessly integrates with surrounding components. They do not vent to the atmosphere (VTA) so they are emissions compliant and track legal. Closed-loop systems eliminate oil and sludge from PCV gases before they reach the engine for combustion. A closed-loop system also promotes negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Furthermore, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin. Integrated dipsticks on the catch cans allow for easy inspection of the accumulated fluid. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications are required.
The oil catch can kit installs in line between the PCV valve and the intake manifold.
It mounts to the threaded studs just behind the right shock tower, near the firewall.

When intake manifold pressure is at or above atmospheric pressure, the PCV check valve will close, and thus this hose experiences no flow. Conversely, the PCV hoses will experience a controlled vacuum when the engine is idling, steady state, and decelerating. This would typically draw unwanted crankcase vapors, unburnt fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately following high load operation.

INCLUDES: Baffled oil catch can, Toyota specific mounting bracket, AN adapters and hose ends, stainless steel hardware, Radium PCV hose. NOTE: An additional inline check valve is not required, as Radium Oil Catch Cans are pressure sealed.
